Personal bio:
I started practicing Hatha and Vinyasa in 2002. I attended my first Bikram Yoga class in 2006. When I realize the physical and mental benefits I was receiving, I knew I was hooked for life. Three years later, in Spring of 2009, I went on to complete my Bikram Yoga Teacher Training.

Describe your class to someone new so they have a good idea of what to expect:
This is a 90 minute yoga class consisting of 26 postures and 2 breathing exercises and it’s held in a heated room. The sequence is always the same. The golden rule is to do your absolute best to stay in the room for the entire class. It’s a beginner class, so you’re in good company, however, all levels are welcome. If you start to feel overwhelmed, you can take breaks by lying on your mat and do nothing but breathe. Do your best to get through the class. There are absolutely no judgements!
